The Princess of Wales shared a touching moment with her daughter Princess Charlotte while watching Jannik Sinner win the Wimbledon title today.

Princess Catherine and Prince William attended the match with their eldest children, Prince George, 11, and Charlotte, 10, while their seven-year-old son Louis remained at home.

George and his father William, who share a strong resemblance, also smiled and waved as they followed behind Kate and Charlotte.

Both George and Charlotte were dressed impeccably for the occasion in SW19—Charlotte wore a charming cream dress with black piping, and George looked sharp in a dark suit and tie.

William complemented the family’s look in white trousers paired with a blue jacket.

Mother-of-three Kate and her only daughter shared sweet smiles as they settled in to watch the tournament.

Catherine has served as patron of the All England Lawn and Tennis Club (AELTC), the organization responsible for running this prestigious event, since 2016.

Although George and Charlotte attended the match, cheeky Louis was notably absent from the sporting event.

Louis, who turned seven in April, recently charmed royal fans with his playful facial expressions and bright smile, proudly showing off his new adult front teeth at Trooping the Colour in June.

The Princess looked radiant in a blue dress as she arrived at the All England Club for the second day in a row this afternoon—following her presentation of the trophy at the women’s final on Saturday.

Kate also wore her signature ‘Wimbledon bow’ brooch, featuring the tournament’s iconic colors, which she is believed to wear every time she visits Wimbledon.

She first debuted the green and purple bow in 2017, pairing it with a white, short-sleeved dress.

More than just a stylish accessory, the Princess’s Wimbledon brooch symbolizes royal patronage and was a gift from Queen Elizabeth II.

The women’s 2025 final saw Iga Swiatek defeat Amanda Asiminova 6-0, 6-0 in a match lasting just under an hour.

Kate appeared visibly moved upon arriving at the Royal Box on Centre Court, greeted by loud cheers and a standing ovation.

Her warm reception echoed last year’s, when she made the tennis tournament her first solo public appearance after stepping back from duties for cancer treatment.

Today’s final features Jannik Sinner facing off against Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz—who is known to be a favorite of Princess Charlotte.

Princess Charlotte of Wales attended day fourteen of the Wimbledon Tennis Championships at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club.

Last year, Princess Charlotte delighted fans with her animated reactions as she watched her favourite player claim the coveted trophy.

Throughout the nail-biting match, the young royal winced, cheered, and beamed while witnessing the intense competition for the prestigious title.

Kate took on the role of patron in 2016, succeeding the late Queen who had held the position for 64 years.

The accessory is traditionally worn by members of the Committee of Management during the Fortnight—comprising the Main Board of the AELTC and representatives of the LTA—and symbolizes their governing responsibilities for the tournament.

The Patron has always been presented with a Committee bow in recognition of her role, which is why the Duchess chooses to wear it when attending The Championships.

Other honorary recipients of the Committee bow include the Chief Executive.

The current colours of dark green and purple were introduced in 1909, replacing the club’s previous colours—blue, yellow, red, and green—which were considered too similar to those of the Royal Marines.

The royal received praise for her Wimbledon appearance yesterday after consoling tearful runner-up Amanda Anisimova, who was soundly defeated by Iga Swiatek in the most one-sided Wimbledon final since 1911.

Kate gently placed her hand on the American’s arm, encouraging her to “keep your head high” following Anisimova’s 6-0, 6-0 loss on Centre Court in just 57 minutes.

Anisimova briefly left the court after the humbling defeat by an inspired Swiatek, 24, who recorded a rare double bagel scoreline in the women’s final—the first in 114 years and only the second time in the tournament’s history.

Anisimova described meeting Kate as “the positive of today” and spoke warmly about the Duchess’s kindness.

After the match, she said, “It was such an honour to meet her. I wasn’t sure if she was going to come out today, if she was going to be there, so it’s just really nice to see her. She definitely had a few things to say that were making me emotional again.”

A tearful Anisimova wiped away tears during her post-match interview on court, praising Swiatek and admitting she had “run out of gas a bit today.”

Playing in her first Wimbledon final, she said she would “never forget this experience.”

Keira Knightley and Andrew Scott were spotted in the Royal Box on day fourteen of the 2025 Wimbledon Championships today.

All of Us Strangers co-stars Andrew Scott and Paul Mescal were also seated in the Royal Box, sharing laughs ahead of the match.

Daisy Edgar-Jones and Ben Seed attended day fourteen of the Wimbledon Tennis Championships.

Naomi Campbell looked sleek and stylish as she joined the spectators at the Wimbledon event.

Nicole, 58, exuded sophistication in a cream double-breasted blazer layered over a crisp collared shirt as she took her seat in the Royal Box.

The Oscar winner showcased her timeless beauty and radiant complexion as she focused intently on the court.

She wore her long auburn hair styled straight.

Orlando Bloom, dressed in Ralph Lauren, attended day fourteen of the Wimbledon Tennis Championships.

Sienna Miller, also dressed in Ralph Lauren, looked jubilant as she wore sunglasses to watch the match.

Amanda Anisimova became emotional again as she spoke about her mother flying in from America that morning to watch her play.

“Thank you for being here and breaking the superstition of not flying in—it isn’t why I lost here,” she joked.

Anisimova added, “I know I didn’t have enough today, but I will keep putting in the work and hope to be back here one day.”

Victorious Iga Swiatek, the first Polish woman to win Wimbledon, also offered encouraging words to Anisimova.

“First, I want to congratulate Amanda for an amazing two weeks. You should be proud of the work you are doing, and I hope we will play more finals together,” she said.

“I never even dreamed of this; for me, it was way too far. I feel like I am already an experienced player after winning Slams before, but I never expected this one.

“This year, I really, really enjoyed it and feel I improved my form here.

“I’m always going to remember the sound of champagne bottles popping between serves—it’s a sound that will keep me awake at night!”

The only other time there has been a 6-0, 6-0 scoreline in a Grand Slam final was in 1988, when Steffi Graf defeated Natasha Zvereva at the French Open.

For her appearance yesterday, Kate wore a custom white Self-Portrait ensemble, featuring a high-collared, military-style belted top and a flowing midi skirt.

Kate has frequently worn Self-Portrait designs, including at Wimbledon in 2023 when she sported a similar two-piece outfit in green.

She completed the look with Gianvito Rossi cream suede slingback heeled pumps and an Anya Hindmarch Neeson Small Square Tote bag in cream, retailing at £950.

Her jewelry included a gold Halcyon Days bracelet and Cartier earrings.

She also gave a sweet nod to her husband, Prince William, by wearing what appeared to be her Cartier Bleu watch—a gift from him for their anniversary in 2014.

Last year’s final also featured Carlos Alcaraz, who won by defeating Novak Djokovic in straight sets.

After leaving the court following the trophy ceremony, the Princess spoke privately with Alcaraz inside the tournament’s main stadium.

“You played so well,” Kate told him. “Enjoy the win.”
