The rains in India have been coming down in droves, and the streets of Kolkata were flooded as a result. And the stray dogs in the area have been searching for dry and safe places to stay. So when Constable Tarun Kumar Mandal went out to direct traffic with his umbrella, a couple of street dogs ran to him for shelter…
The officer obliged and continued on with his work while making sure to hold the umbrella over the dogs! Passerby Sayan Chakraborty saw the act of kindness and snapped a photo, and it’s since warmed the hearts of many. What a sweet gesture that deserves to be shared with the world!
