The energy level of a husky breed is extremely high, potentially stemming from the fact that their ancestors were used for work in harsh wilderness conditions according to the American Kennel Club. When people own huskies that they keep indoors, it’s important to stimulate these animals and allow them adequate exercise so that they do not become bored and destructive.
Naturally, huskies became popular due to their unique and beautiful outward appearances. Their pale blue eyes are one of their most notable features, but they can also have a variation of eye colors including eyes that are two different shades.
Another memorable thing about huskies is their ability to be extremely vocal about their emotions! Huskies aren’t particularly known for barking, but rather engage in howling to get their way.
Because they were bred for work, they are often extremely loyal to those that raise them and enjoy speaking back to their owners when spoken to. Another unique quality that huskies possess is that many of them enjoy bath time.
If you’ve ever owned a picky dog, you know how difficult it can be to get them in the tub for a scrub down! But in the case of one husky, things couldn’t be any more opposite!
One husky, named Zeus, has a love for bath time that exceeds his desires for any other activity. Because it is not possible to bathe their long and extravagant coats every day, his owner sometimes has to tell Zeus no when he requests a bath through howling.
But when Zeus gets rejected, he becomes an entirely different beast and throws an adorable temper tantrum. This dog has the cutest way of telling his owner he wants a bath: getting himself in the tub and howling for assistance!
