A very rare situation happened on America’s Got Talent during Sara Carson‘s audition with her dog Hero…
It is known to the show’s viewers that judge Simon Cowell is one the harshest judges who have been on the show for several seasons. But it looks like the days of “Tough Simon” are done. This surprising change of heart was revealed during a recent episode of America’s Got Talent. When Sara Carson and her adorable Collie, Hero, stepped onto the stage, with no idea that Simon would do something he has never done before to save their future on the show.
The young contestant has sacrificed everything for her simple dream: to tell the world about the power of positive reinforcement on animals.
Sara Carson– from Ontario, Canada – is not like any other animal trainer. Instead of using any punishments or corrections to train her dog, she focuses on praise to teach Hero and other dogs.
Sara fell in love with animals from young age, she could overcome her shyness thanks to the bond she has formed with them. Her family didn’t support her as much as she needed when she decided to become a professional dog trainer, which caused her to choose her dream over relationships with some of her family members

And boy does Sara’s training method work! Sara and Hero went through a pirate-themed routine which seemed to captivate everyone in the audience and left viewers feeling like their own dogs are pretty worthless.

Unfortunately, Heidi and Howie weren’t mesmerized by the routine
“I’ve never seen a dog have a sword fight with his owner before,” said Simon. “I don’t think they quite understood what you just did.”
But when Heidi and Howie both voted “no,” Simon stood up and did something he’s never done before. He fought for her.
