So it happens that it’s Rafael Pease’s 21st birthday, and he can’t think of anything better to do to jump himself into the new age than a good snowboarding experience in Chile. He takes a friend with him. However, none of the two knows that this is actually a life-saving mission!
That’s exactly as it happened. Rafael and his friend went snowboarding. They had a good time, but then Rafael saw something protruding in the snow. He thought it was a rock, but decided to take a closer look. What they discovered led to a greater birthday experience!
Turns out, the alleged rock in the snow was actually a live horse stuck deep into the snow. The two friends had to forget about their snowboarding plans so they could save the innocent animal. They spend a good moment of their day digging out the horse from the snow. They made a simple harness and took the horse down the mountain and into safety.
They came to learn that the horse’s owner had set the animal free, but the poor thing had wandered into the snow. It had been stuck there for 4 days!
