Wagner Lima passed away due to a motorcycle accident on New Year’s Eve of 2017. The 34-year-old was a Paraguayan cowboy with a liking to horses. Wagner has a horse named Sereno, and everyone knew how much the two were “tight.”
His brother, Wando, knew how much his brother loved Sereno, so it was only fair to let the horse tag along during Wagner’s funeral. Judging from the horse’s unvoiced reactions, it seemed clear that the innocent animal already knew what was going on and all he wished for was a chance to bid goodbye to his friend. Wagner and Sereno had been friends for so many years, and this whole thing was really eating away at the horse.
In the clip, you watch as the funeral progresses, and then Sereno gets a chance to get close to his human’s casket and smell his scent. What happens next will break your heart. This horse is really grieving.
