Dogs have always been one of my favorite pets. They are easy to live with and they never complain. All you need to do is bath them and feed them. That is all you need to do for them. You could also vaccinate them for all the common diseases that the vet would recommend. Then you will be free to enjoy their company and watch for the rest of your life. I love the fact that dogs act as your “eyes and ears” when you are asleep. You just rest happily knowing that if something goes wrong, they will alert you and let you know you need to wake up to check out something that is probably a threat.
That is also one of the reasons man has kept dogs for a very long time, to help him keep watch over his property and himself. Dogs have a sharp sense of smell. That means they can also help to track certain items. All you have to do is train them on the particular scent you want them to learn to track. Otherwise if none of the above is of interest, you may just enjoy their company like the guy in the video below.
