The big breeds of dogs intimidate most of us who feel at ease when around the smaller dog breeds. Ironically, the smaller ones are not that friendly when we compare them to the bigger breeds. That brings about the Napoleon complex. For example, German Shepherds have big teeth, bark loudly and look very scary, but are normally so gentle when we relate with them.

In the clip below, we meet one German shepherd called Tennyson. When you look at him, you can conclude that even a full grown man can be taken down by him. But that is not the case since he is so gentle at heart. While around the house, he noticed that Moo, the kitten was experiencing some hardships using the stairs. He wanted to use his mouth and grab her head, but then hesitated.

The kitten makes one more hop up the stair near Tennyson’s head and that’s when the sweet German Shepherd decided that he could no longer stand by and watch this small baby struggle up the stairs any longer.

He wanted to do it in such a way that will not hurt the little kitten. Moments later, he cleverly helps the kitten up the stairs. After placing her down, he confirms whether everything is OK with her. So adorable! After having his mission accomplished, the German Shepherd lies down and faces mom as she continues to film.
